Alison Stoke put pole vault on the limelight, managing to set the bar really high as an athlete at a very young age. Her talent as an athlete was thrust into the media atmosphere because of a controversial photo. The young athlete unfortunately became the subject of criticism from the ever prying paparazzi, the media and of course public opinion from a very young age.
