Charlotte’s story
Charlotte was a widower and professional nurse who worked for many years until she retired. Her marriage to John was happy, and they had 3 children together. Even though she didn’t like going out often, her friends convinced her to try something new on this particular night. She wasn’t expecting to meet anyone special, but John changed all that.
It was a typical evening out for Charlotte- she was feeling tired and bored after a day of work. She had no intention of going home early and also, her friends managed to convince her to stay out a little longer.
